Smokey broiled Catfish Recipe - Try this tasty dish with a smokey flavor. If you take your time and do it right, the fish will literally fall apart. Serve this at your next gathering, friends will ask for more. |
Ingredients to make Smokey Broiled Catfish Recipe
6 skinned, pan dressed catfish
1/3 cup soy sauce
3 tbsp. melted fat or oil
1 tbsp.liquid smoke
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
lemon wedges
Directions to make Smokey Broiled Catfish Recipe
Step 1:Thaw frozen fish. Clean, wash and dry fish. Combine remaining ingredients except lemon wedges and mix thoroughly
Step 2:Brush inside of fish with sauce. Place fish on a well-greased broiler pan, brush with sauce. broil about 3 inches from source of heat for 4-6 minutes.
Step 3:Turn carefully and brush other side with sauce. Broil 4-6 minutes longer, basting occasionally, until fish flakes easily with a fork
Step 4:Serve with lemon wedges.
