Catfish Fillets Simple Sauced broiled Catfish - This simple, sauced recipe for broiled catfish, is smothered in a spiced tomato sauce, that is outstanding. Quick and easy, these catfish steaks are ready in minutes, and are extremely moist and tender.

Ingredients to make Simple Sauced Broiled Catfish

16 ounces Catfish Steaks
1/4 cup Tomato sauce
1/4 cup Vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
3/4 teaspoon Fresh Dill — minced
1/8 teaspoon Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Pepper
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon Vegetable Oil
Vegetable Cooking Spray
Lemon Slices
Fresh Dill Sprigs

Directions to make Simple Sauced Broiled Catfish

Step 1:

Rinse catfish steaks under cold, running water; pat dry and set aside. Combine tomato sauce and next 7 ingredients in a small bowl; stir well.

Step 2:

Brush half of mixture over 1 side of steaks. Coat rack of a broiler pan with cooking spray. Place steaks on rack; broil 4-5\” from heat, 5-10 minutes, depending on thickness of steak. Carefully turn fish over; brush with remaining tomato mixture. Broil an additional 6 minutes, or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
